“Break the Silence – Pregnancy Loss Week” Awareness Campaign
Although 10%-20% of pregnancies end in miscarriage, this invisible loss continues to be an unspoken and taboo topic in Hong Kong.
Funded by the Hong Kong Jockey Club Charities Trust, a pilot project “Jockey Club Perinatal Bereavement Care” has been initiated. The project aims to provide holistic psychological and social support to bereaved parents with pregnancy loss. A public campaign named “Break the Silence – Pregnancy Loss Week” Awareness Campaign will be held in October to promote public understanding and support for people experiencing pregnancy loss.
